The Ottawa West-Nepean Federal Liberal Association invites you to the first of its “Community Issues” Series in 2013

“The Future of Work and Employment”


An information and discussion evening for local Liberals and other members of the public to get together to discuss the issues that affect your community and families.

Youth unemployment, race to the bottom, temporary work, end of pensions, skills gaps, reduced benefits: these care some of the challenges facing today’s work force. What of tomorrow?


Angela McEwen, Chief Economist, Canadian Labour Congress
Todd Lafontaine, CEO, Contract Community (A Headhunter/ Placement Company)
Betsy Kane, Immigration Lawyer (specializing in placing foreign professionals)

The event will be taking place on Thursday, March 7th 7-9 PM at Villa Marconi (Main Entrance)1026 Baseline Road Ottawa (Nepean)

Free parking; Bus Route 118; donations to the Ottawa Food Bank will be collected.
